The opinion of the expert we work with on Interpol Diffusions.

INTERPOL Diffusion is an urgent instrument for cooperation between the police departments of different countries to locate individual and provisionally arrest him or her. The difference between a Red Notice a diffusion is that the last may be requested without any justification or supporting evidence. For the last decade this tool-an Interpol diffusion-is widely used by the government of authoritarian or like-minded regimes to persecute people across the globe without any legal justification just on the whim of the officials.

If INTERPOL under new leadership enforced what I explained in the video, it would not only strengthen fairness in their system, but it would also take pressure off the Commission for the Control of Files (CCF), which constantly deals with appeals challenging these abuses.

So, I hope under a new leadership INTERPOL will become much more lawfuly acting international organization respecting the Article 2 of its own Constitution and thus, acting within the limits of the laws existing in the different countries and in the spirit of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). Specifically, Article 9 of the UDHR prescribing - "No one shall be subjected to arbitrary arrest, detention or exile."
